- Growing Inclusivity: We currently offer up to 6XL across our collections, with many styles starting at 2XS. My goal is to keep expanding these options until every body has a place in the Alcove.
Meet The Founder
Ciao belle, I’m Christine.
To be honest, I’ve always just really loved aesthetically pleasing things. At one point, I even thought about becoming an interior designer because I’m fascinated by how the right colors and patterns can completely shift your mood.
I started Active Alcove because I wanted that same feeling in my activewear. I was tired of the "same old" black leggings and mass-produced logos. I wanted pieces that felt curated and intentional like a favorite corner of your home.
I don't claim to be a fitness guru or a high-fashion mogul. I'm just a woman with a design eye who wants to make movement look and feel a little more beautiful. Whether it’s the Mediterranean tiles in Costiera or the beach vibes of Tropicana, I choose these patterns because they make me happy, and I hope they do the same for you.
This is a one-woman project. To keep things sustainable and avoid the waste of big warehouses, everything is made-to-order specifically for you. It takes a little longer to get to your door, but it’s my way of making sure we’re being kind to the planet while we build your wardrobe.
